Candlelight Vigil in honor of Alex Pretti

PROTEST SAFELY! 

• Go with friends and family.

• If you are concerned that your presence at the rally will have consequences for your job, with law enforcement, or other reasons, turn your phone off and leave it at a location away from the rally. Write an emergency phone number on your arm with a Sharpie. 

• Stay aware of what is happening around you. Rallies and protests can attract agitators. Stay clear of anyone attempting to provoke violence. 

• If you are concerned about being identified in photos, you can wear a mask, hat, sunglasses, etc. to disguise your face. You can also wear face paint. 

• Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, appropriate clothing for the weather, etc. You may be standing for a long time.
